But indeed,the very much planned and executed modus operanda appears to b the tip of an ice berg that might sink in the secular democrat of an India where once prevailed utter Peace and harmony....

Lookin at the political aspect ,am more driven by roy's comment  at the current state of MUm amidst the major so called politicians.

A few of them (The PM and LKA who were supposed to be visitng mumbai to oversee the security operations but later turned up separately ...The very act was called as one exhibitng National Shame ...And the Perfect mum state of Raj Thackeray (who hasn't yet given a public statement on the current affairs) is being widely condemned  as a very cowardly and reckless act from a not so responsible  politician.)...An It doesn't stop here.....

 the  Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Quresh who was earliar quoted as offering a hotline between the indian and pakistan security forces(in an attempt to offer help ) and later retorting at the PM's claim (PM had evidence of some sort of indulgence from the pakistan elements in the mumbai terror). ...Queresh came up quite so boldly talking stuff like "India and pakistan should join hands at defeating a common enemy"...Wow..All this sounds sooooooo very sweet and nice of him...(I would put a pun here....Imagine how it 'd be when sarah palin invites(Duh!!!) Obama to her thanksgiving dinner and  (It doesn't stop here.!!!!_) an takes all de effort in the world to give him a toast...(Yet again...Not de end)...And goes on to say...."WE LOVE OBAMA"....Gosh ...Change can happen indeed...

Now the point is...Queresh was all so instrumental in bringin sum of the momentum in mumbai to a standstill..However...He missed out on a few quite obvious qns put forth by prannoy.(Do watch NDTV.)_....

Welll...

         It goes on and on....WHATEVER IT IS...At the end...Its only blood an tear that remains to fend the earth...Nothin else..

Tough times such as these call for the United India.

Its been a while since i added sumthin worthwhile in the blog...
I came across this one....Lots of sensible posts and here I am with this one...
Jus completed reading " Honour among theives "....The story goes like this ...Saddam plots to steal the american declaration of independence(A piece of paper basicallyy but the americans hold it as a national treasure of some sort)...And the CIA is all gushed up about their stolen national treaasure ...and surge into action to get back the paper(ya ....its actually a paper)...and I cudn't really understand or rather believe these sorta morals running high amidst the americans...Anyways ...It was Quite characteristic of Archer...Absolute page turner...
I liked the bit about scott and hannah :) :)..
So....am waiting to get hold on another good piece...Might be Brisingr ....(Came across it in a friend's gtalk signature.)....
Sumone(Our prof at Cat class...Whose name I dunno...But he was one real good person who talked on a wide array of topics...from Illiad to Greek history to dickens to watergate etc etc..) insisted tht we read this book called..."Story of philosophy"...."Lateral Thinking " by edward de bono..........
Let me see....If I can get anywhere near the book let alone finish readin 'em..

Its a wonderful rainy morning......And Am instilled to write ....

Three months have passed since I joined Heymath as Intern.
And We have learnt a lot.
An It was learning with lotta fun.
Ideally We worked on two mini projects for the first two months
Which sort of prepared us for the Main,
% Mini1:

Well the learning points were:
* learnt to code in java.(Seriously true man...Ajax ...reflections etc etc,)
* Used free marker Templates.
* Understood the magic of MVC..(Boomm...It came...And I was like...Crikey)
* Last but not the least....We supposedly followed good software engineering
practices...Like naming conventions...Proper commenting...(Its a bit lame to point out this...But its vitally important an issue which shudn't be neglected..A month later I open my code..And It still looks beautifulll...)


%Mini2 :

This was a veryyyy interesting one...
It centers around maintaining a File Folder directory structure ..(Like a simulation of the Windows explorer where a user can add files,add folders,drag,drop,rename,expand,collapse,etc etc,,,And the changes get reflected in the DB)
Well the learning points were,
*Learnt to code better in java.
*Used an adjacency List model (over nested set) to store hierarchical data in MySql.
*Worked with EXT JS & YUI(Now this is a bonus I'd say...Coz I started working with
YUI...And den hit a wall..Coz ..YUI does not provide an inbuilt drag drop option with the
TreeView widget.However There is a seperate drag drop utility which need to be
integrated with the custom TreeView,Somehow I managed to insert some drupal code
to make my tree nodes draggable.......But den I found out...It dint look GOOD...yeah...Am
using Yahoo User Interface kit whioch is suppiosed to make everythin look all good and
flashy...But here is my tree lookin ugly when dragged....(not my fault....)...Den showed my
ugly lookin tree to vijay anna....and explained the prob...An hark...came the saviour...EXT
JS...Vijay anna showed a custom tree view which was used in Heymath Website...An It
did look pretty cool.So thts how I resorted to EXT JS.
* Now EXT JS...Made my app look more neat(than before.)& sleek...(ya I know its not a
mobile phone and am not promoting it tooo,..,.,..but It does look sleek ya...All flashy and
nicey cicey...)
* Used JDOM for XML fior XML parsing(tried SAX before.)..
* org.json helped me with the Json object creation.
*Well I can keep listing more....
And the project spanned for about two weeks....
The rest of my friends used a different UI...(raga shyam satish with GWT,,,An Muthu
stayed with YUI)...
Well Im encouraged to write more ...more on the tech stuff tht ACTUALLY AMAZED me
while at work.....

hmm...not me...Recently (yesterday)I came across this phrase from one of my seniors...KB
....To start off...I was startled..(yey meeee....) when he told tht I was formin as a perfect IT employee...I was surprised an flattered toooo..(obviously u hear such a thin from a senior u take it to be a sort of praise )..Well it wasn't....(later i found out ot my dismay)
I tried to be modest enough to ask him why so?..an wat it meanssss.??(a perf..It..Emp..)
aahhhhhhhhhhhh....then he pointed out...

KARTHIK: ohhhh u r forming as a perfect IT employee
me: jus kiddin
KARTHIK: congrats :)
me: why so?

Intern Dhamaka

I was thinking about an apt title for this post even before start writitng on it.
An this one came by..(like newton sittin under de tree ....an apple falling...gravity theory glowing.)
Then a search followed ....wat is DHAMAKA? ..I know dandanakka....but dhamakaaa?????(mmm...am thinkin)..I think it means intense enjoyment....
ya ...so it means tht am enjoyinnnnn my internship to de core....
Lots of things to learn....New experiences...Corporate not in the exact sense
but truly professional ....
We are working on a mini project ...whose submission is due on friday...
Its actually a micro mini proj based on MVC architecture...
probably i start workin on tht now.......

Have nearly a week to rejuvenate myself
before starting de intern....
We(12 of us..) spent de noon at my place..on monday...
Yesterday we had our seminar VIVA...supposedly it went on fine...
Den we spent de evening in asiad colony park ...playin badminton...
12 of us...wit threee raquetes...

Planning to go for a movie...dunno which one....genelia
is cute in santhosh.............
Mixed reviews abt her though....
It takes a lotta effort to co ordinate...esp while goin for a movie durin hols..

Hey guys,,,,
Its saturday 10 AM.an Im supposed to be preparing for Intern interview
@ Hey Math....Dunno wht tempted me to write a blog post....(see I know u tot de same too)...
I have kept myself off for quite a longgggggggg time(4-5 months) from this virtual world...(now thts a polish way of saying .."oh yeah...I was lazy..."..).
Actually...I am not so now...coz I shud be rite now preparing...which am not...rather..am writin
some crap...neways....HeyMath seems to be a pretty cool company...
For students...An am rite now keeping my fingers crossed....
